How are we different?
The difference between Abba Homes and other sober living homes is our belief that a new life can be obtained by allowing Jesus Christ to be the center of your life. Our goal is to help our residents find their place in God’s family, through strong accountability, regular church attendance, Bible studies, and a Christ centered 12-step program.

The Beginning
In February of 2003 Family Church opened a Celebrate Recovery Ministry, we were asked to lead it. Over the years we have watched in awe as God’s work restored the lives of those who had come asking for help. It wasn’t long before we recognized the need to offer more to the community. We watched the success of the men coming out of prison who had the availability of a strong Christian accountability team vs. the men who didn’t stay connected. We listened as our participants voiced concerns of returning to their dysfunctional families, destructive lifestyles, and other areas that were a problem to them in the past. We heard their fears, and we began to pray for a way to assist the individuals who needed the safety and security of a Christian transitional home. God answered our prayers; Abba Homes was born out of LOVE. – Buddy & Alicia Davis
